Holiday start.

We're slowly, but surely, tranforming our house into its Christmas glory. (Hah!) It's been much colder recently, and we've taken the opportunity to stay home and begin decorating. We don't have our tree yet (I'm determined to get a real one this year!), but most everything else is out. I've also been busy removing the hooks from every single ornament that we own, and replacing them with ribbon. (Funny how motherhood makes you notice deathtraps in all sorts of daily scenarios!) I've also been crafting my own child-proof ornaments, as I refuse to have the bottom 3 feet of my beloved tree bare, yet also refuse to pay an arm and a leg for a set of goofy {ugly!} stuffed animal ornaments.
