March of Dimes.
Today is Premature Birth Awareness Day. Every year, 543,000 babies are born before 37 weeks gestation. That's 1 in 8 babies. C'mon, People, 1 baby out of every 8 born is fighting for his or her life before it has even begun! Prematurity is the number one killer of newborns. March of Dimes is a program that fights to save babies. By raising public knowledge of premature births, as well as supporting medical research and education, March of Dimes is making a difference. Please consider becoming involved through volunteer work or monitary donation to help save babies!
